Bio

daughter of John Carter - Sarah Sullivan Clarence McKnight married Laura Carter on 16 October 1909 at Weatherford, Texas. Graveside services for Laura G. McKnight, 87, were officiated by Dr. Eugene Robertson, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and Rev. John Wiles, the pastor of First Baptist Church. She moved to Graham from Newcastle in 1972. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Clarence McKnight; one daughter, Mrs. Adele Parker; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
