Lockaby, Perry "Gene", born October 27, 1960, native of Roswell, NM had honorably served and is a declarated Veteran of the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class from 1979-94. He was called to his permanent home in heaven on March 31, 2003. A devout christian and God fearing man, he is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Lockaby, his sons, Joshua Lockaby and Harry Shoemaker, his daughters; Kimberly Fleak, Holly Sigler, and Brandy Padron. He will be missed most by his adoring grandchildren; Joey, Hunter, Briana, Brooke, Hannah, Abby, and Angelina. He is survived by his father, Loyd Lockaby and his brother, Charles Lockaby, of Clyde, TX. He devoted his life to his wife, his family, church, and his friends. He is truly loved and will be forever missed by many. To my Husband, Dad, "Pop Pop", Grampa, and "Tadpa": "Our hearts will be forever filled with many wondrous memories of you, your intense kindness, boundless generosity of spirit, fierce loyalty, and unconditional love and devotion."
