Bio

William Arthur Fain, 76, Athens, died Thursday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with burial in Roselawn Cemetery and Spry Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Townsend Fain of Athens; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Crews, Mrs. Dorothy Watson and Mrs. Margaret Bates, all of Athens; one step-son, Herbert Carter of Owens, GA; three brothers, Thomas Fain, Robert Fain and Mason Fain, all of Athens; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
