Bio

Mattie Cordelia Pitcock was the daughter of William Thomas Pitcock and Martha Augusta "Mattie" Gullatt. She was one of 13 children born to her parents. Her sibling were Dovey, Jessie "Willie", Grover Cleveland, O. B., Maude, Al Jacob, Cecil Thomas, Beulah Lera, Vera, Louis, Inez and Steve Terrell Pitcock. Mattie married Edgar Lee Etier, Sr April 17, 1917 in Fort Worth, Texas. To their union they had 3 children. Their first child died at birth. Edgar Lee Etier, Jr became a Doctor of Medicine and Martha Jane Etier. Mattie died of cancer at the age or 52.
