Grace Nelson Hooper Sentinel Mrs. George (Grace) Nelson formerly of Hooper, age 90, passed away Monday, February 2, 1981 at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Scribner. She was born Grace Carter December 3, 1890 in Wellington, Kansas and united in Marriage to George Nelson who preceded her in death on June 4, 1973. Survivors are two step sons, Fay of Gasville, Arkansas, and Darrel of Gold(en?), Oregon; and a step daughter, Mrs. Lester (Verdie) Nelson of Lincoln City, Oregon; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held this morning at the Warne Funeral Home in Hooper, the Rev Earl Higgens officiating. Burial was in the Hooper Cemetery. Pianist was Mrs. Pearl Hiebenthal and pallbearers will be Charles May, Ervin May, Duane Koplin, Laurence Mack, Dean Lammers and Simon Reandeau.
