Bio
Son of Gerhard and Katharina (Huebert) Friesen. He married Elizabeth Rempel on Aug. 6, 1948, in York County. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Amy Friesen of Grand Island, Tim and Debbie Friesen of Bryant, Ark., and Lee and Valerie Friesen of Lincoln; one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Dale Strasser of Freeman, S.D.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Levi also leaves behind two more great-grandchildren on the way and several nieces and nephews. Levi was a lifelong farmer in the Hamilton County area. Levi and Elizabeth were blessed with four children. Levi took pride in knowing and sharing his faith, loved farming and embraced music. He was a member of the Stockham Community Church. Preceding him in death were his parents and four siblings, David H. Friesen, Marie Friesen, Reuben Friesen and Tina Epp.
