Bio

Was twin to Otho Lane Smith. Opal Lene Farris, 69, of 444 E. 43rd St. died at 8:47 a.m. Monday in Shannon Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home with the Rev. David Smith of Word of Life Assembly of God officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at City Cemetery in Coleman. She was born Feb. 28, 1918, in Silver Valley. She had lived in San Angelo for 15 years and was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Eddie Farris of San Angelo; two sisters, Aileen Williams of Wickett and Eddie Cothren of Grape Creek; and one brother, E.
