Bio
Daughter of Albert and Mary (Mierau) Kliewer. On August 7, 1970 Olene was united in marriage to Doug Tessman in Henderson. Olene was an elementary teacher at Aurora. She was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson where she took part in women's choir, Mission Circle, Board of Outreach, and was a Sunday School teacher. She was on the Bicentennial Board of Stockham, the Stockham Ladies ministries, and enjoyed taking part in 4-H activities. Survivors include: her husband Doug of Stockham; three sons: Jason (Tami) Tessman of Lincoln, NE; Corbin (Lisa) Tessman of Henderson; and Chad (Jessica) Tessman of Lincoln; and six grandchildren: Ava, Mariah, Kaitlyn, Hallie, Waylon, and Julia. Also surviving are brothers: Roy (Helen) Kliewer of Stockham; Marlin (Mickey) Kliewer of Wymore, NE; Orin (Janet) Kliewer of Stockham; and Berdon (Vivian) Kliewer of Stockham; sisters: Diane (Lonnie) Salmon of Stockham; Linette (Murray) Jones of Holdrege, NE; and Carol (David) Holl of Kearney, NE; brother-in-law Rich (Cheryl) Heftie of Stockham; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister Arlyce Heftie, and nephew Dale Heftie.
