Bio

Charles Rea Garden of Salem died at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Rae Alexander & Thelma Derifield Bailey. He married A Chris Garden in Chicago. He was part owner of Garden Drilling & was an Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of Masons/Shriners, Salem American Legion, VFW, Elks Club & Moose Lodge. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Salem. He is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Mike, Gary & Mark; daughters, Diedra, Lynn, Cheryl, & Lori. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, John. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service was held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy.
