Bio

Jasper Dee Clark, 74, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in a local hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in McCoy Chapel of Memories with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel. He was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Roby and was a lifetime resident of Fisher and Nolan counties. A Navy veteran of World War II, he owned and operated service stations and owned an independent trucking company. He was a member of Highland Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ada Belle Clark of Sweetwater; two daughters, Deena Kirkpatrick of Glenn Heights and Tere Parsons of Roswell, N.M.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
