Services: 02/25/2010. Mullis, was called home on Feb.19, 2010, fulfilling her desire to be reunited with loved ones, and forever be with our Lord. She was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Cooper, TX. She was devoted to her family. Viola is survived by her 5 daughters, Freda Shearin and husband, Charles, Sr., Barbara O'Connell, Diana Hatley, Elsie Aubrey and husband, Kenneth, Sr., and Pamala Casanova and husband, Carlos, Sr.; 2 sons, Herbert Mullis and Johnny Mullis and wife, Pam; sister, Lorene Mills; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 35 great-great-grandchildren, step grandchildren; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Fredrick Mullis, daughter, Sara Johnson, grandson, Carlos Casanova, Jr., and great-grandson, Dustin Bradshaw.
