Grandson of Thomas & Marthia Harris White, of Maud Bowie Co TX. Great Grandson of Benjamin & Polly Nix White, also of Bowie Co TX, They migrated from Union Co SC, in 1846, with Ranel's Gr Gr Grandfather Elias & Anne Gibbs White, who brought other families from Union Co SC, in 1846, in a 13 covered wagon train, originally, they settled in the Redwater area of Bowie Co TX. **SEE ATACHED - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE and Descendant comments** Ranel married Rachel Jane Stewart, Jan 01, 1936 in Waurika Jefferson Co OK, she was the daughter of John & Ollie Lucy Meyer Stewart.
