Leo Perry Schnell, 76, of Olney died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Maple Dale Cemetery. Mr. Schnell was born Dec. 18, 1915 in Noble, the son of William Henry and Ettie(VanMatre) Schnell. he married Loretta Harmon March 5, 1944 in Noble. Mr. Schnell was retired owner and operator of Schnell Jewelry store for 40 years. Mr. Schnell is survived by his wife, Loretta Schnell of Olney; one son, William Lee Schnell and wife Roslie of Olney; one brother, Herman Henry Schnell of Ardmore, Okla.; one sister, Mary Emma Beard of St. Francisville; four grandchildren, Deborah Lynn Schnell of Lawrenceville, Alan James Schnell, Richard Lee Schnell, and Tammy Sue Schnell, all of Olney. Mr. Schnell was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lester Mervin Schnell, and one infant brother. Obituary from Olney Daily Mail.
