Bio

Bernice E. Maccari, 89, Toluca, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 17, 2010) at her residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1921 in rural Minonk to John J. and Margaret E. Haugens Neu. She married Louis "Louie" Maccari on Nov. 29, 1947 in Minonk. He died March 23, 1990. Surviving are two sons, John Maccari, Toluca, and Jim (Nancy) Maccari, Secor; a brother, Bob (Alice) Neu, Toluca; a sister, Marge (Jim) Fenoglia, Lacon; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
