Martin "Marty" E. Hull, age 56, of La Plata, Missouri passed away Sunday (February 14, 2010) at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. Born July 21, 1953 in Brookfield, Missouri, he was the son of Bennie M. and Alice M. (O'Dell) Hull. On June 9, 1973 in La Plata, Missouri he married Nadine Doss, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Gabriel and Misty Hull of Warner Robins, Georgia, Jackson and Micki Hull of Benton, Arkansas and Benjamin and Melissa Hull of Maryville, Missouri; two brothers, Bennie M. Hull, Jr. and wife, Linda of Brookfield, Missouri and John G. Hull and wife, Tina of Meadville, Missouri; two sisters, Alice Ann Swartz and husband, Jim of Chillicothe, Missouri and Nancy Corbin and husband, Jim of New Boston, Missouri; three grandchildren, Megan, Charlie and Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas F. Hull. Marty was a 1971 graduate of North Western High School of Mendon, Missouri. For the past 36 years he lived in the La Plata community and has been employed with the BNSF Railroad since 1971. He enjoyed working on the railroad and taking care of his family. Marty was a member of the Rothville Baptist Church in Rothville, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (February 18, 2010) at the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, Missouri. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Doss. Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery, La Plata, Missouri. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (February 17, 2010) at the Travis Funeral Chapel 125 South Church La Plata, Missouri 63549 (660) 332-7145 Memorials in memory of Martin E.
