Bio

Bennie Hull, age 84, of Meadville, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. Bennie Milton, son of George and Emma (Jones) Hull, was born July 1, 1920, in Meadville. On July 1, 1944, he married Alice Mae O'Dell who preceded him in death on November 1, 2003. Bennie was a farmer, he had worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Department of Interior at Swan Lake until he retired. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meadville, the Masonic Lodge in Meadville and the American Legion Post in Sumner. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Alice Ann and Jim Swartz of Chillicothe and Nancy and Jim Corbin of New Boston; three sons and daughters-in-law, Bennie and Linda Hull of Brookfield, Marty and Nadine Hull of LaPlata, and John and Tina Hull of Meadville; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Frances Smart and husband, Don of Lakeside, California, Margie Englehard and husband, James of Excelsior Springs, and Carol Kearns and husband, Junior of Brookfield. His parents; one son, Tom Hull; and two sisters, Della Kessinger and Melba McCulla preceded him in death.
