Bio

DIED The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Couton of Austin died at the home for the feeble minded, in Beatrice, last Wednesday noon, July 19, 1911. She was a victim of the epidemic of typhoid fever that has scourged that institution during the hea-ed term just passed. A telegram notified the parents on the day previous, of her serious condition and Mr. Couton drove to Ravenna, and caught the first train for Beatrice, and was at her bedside when the end came. The remains were brought home on Thursday and were intered (sic) in the Austin cemetery on Friday. The Times-Independent - Jul 27 1911
