Terrie Lynn Bardsher Thrasher STERLING Funeral for Terrie Lynn Bardsher Thrasher, 57, Sterling, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Denton Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Price officiating. Mrs. Thrasher passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, in Sterling. Burial will follow at Letitia Cemetery under direction of Fletcher Funeral Home. Terrie Lynn Bardsher Thrasher was born June 22, 1952, in Duncan, to John Henry and Gladys Snider Bardsher. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1970. After graduation, Terrie attended Great Plains Area Vo-Tech and earned a degree as a certified nurse's aid. She worked as a CNA for 33 years. Terrie married Paul Thrasher on April 23, 1981. The couple was married for 28 years. Terrie loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees and the Sterling Tigers. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly! She is survived by her husband, Paul Thrasher; one son and his wife, Cody and Holly Thrasher, Lawton; three daughters and a son-in-law: Jennifer and Billy Snider, Ashli Brown, and Tonya Phelps, all of Sterling; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Carl and Doris Bardsher, Lawton; and Wayne and Janie Bardsher, Duncan; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Jackie Jennings, Duncan; and Jessica and Ronnie Austin, Ringling; two stepdaughters: Melissa Batman and her husband Ira, and Cindy Fowler; and 18 grandchildren: Luke Peyton, Ryan Paul, Krystan Daniele, Katelyn D'Ann, Jaken Ray, Gentrie Morgan, Joshua Travis, Lucas, Riley Paul, Jacobi John, J'Lea Rae, Jeremy Taylor, Levi, C.J., K.C., Layla, Wesley, and Jessie. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Gladys Bardsher; one brother, Charlie Bardsher; and one sister, Venita Morgan. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Lawton Constitution
