Charlie Bardsher Funeral for Charlie Bardsher, 77, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Letitia Baptist Church, east of Lawton, with the Rev. Dan Palesano officiating. Mr. Bardsher died Monday, July 13, 2009, in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Letitia Cemetery under direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born June 9, 1932, in Stephens County, to Henry and Gladys Snyder Bardsher. He graduated from Empire High School in 1950. He married Sandra Fleming on Aug. 9, 1991, in Las Vegas. He was a lifetime rancher and cattleman. He was co-owner and investor of the Lawton Stock Yards and various other livestock auctions in Oklahoma. He was a member of the Oklahoma Cattleman's Association. He attended First Assembly of God in Lawton. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons: Charles "Chuck" Bardsher, Dallas; and Garold Ray Bardsher, Lawton; two step daughters: Terri Snider and her husband Lonnie, and Tammi McGlothlin, all of Lawton; four grandsons: Russell Bardsher and C.W. Bardsher, both of Central High; Dustin Goodner, Lawton; and Cole Price, Coffeyville, Kan.; two granddaughters: Andrea Godwin, Chattanooga; and Julie Q. McGlothlin, Oklahoma City; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne and Janie Bardsher, Duncan; and Carl and Doris Bardsher, Lawton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Jacky Jennings, Duncan; Jessica and Ronnie Austin, Ringling; and Terrie and Paul Thrasher, Sterling. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Venita Morgan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, P.O.
