Name: Evelyn Theresa Fojtik, 86 Died: Thursday, November 19, 2009, in Austin, Texas Evelyn Naizer Fojtik Evelyn Naizer Fojtik joined Our Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2009. This was Evelyn and Bennie's 63rd wedding anniversary. She was born November 29, 1922, to Agnes and Frank Naizer, Sr. in Granger, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Bennie; daughter, Paulette Hendrix and husband, Floyd; son, Steven Fojtik and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Erika Blankenship and husband, Robert; Matthew Fojtik, Cody Fojtik, Kyle Fojtik, and Alexis Fojtik; great-grandchildren, Haley and Justin Blankenship; and one sister, Albina Dykowsky, of Granger. The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Regency Village Care Center and Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin, 4029 Capital of Texas Highway, Suite 120, Austin, Texas, 78704, or Alzheimer's Association, Capitol of Texas Chapter, 3429 Executive Center Dr. #100, Austin, Texas, 78731. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Road, Austin, Texas. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, Texas, 78745 (512) 443-1366 Evelyn was actually born in Neusser, Texas, a community midway between Granger and Georgetown on current FM 971. Neusser was founded by her grandfather, Jan Naizer (#224209131). The small community with a post office, general store, and a community center ceased to exist when the railroad decided to establish a depot in Granger instead.
