Birth date calculated from Aged 79y 5m 9d. Jonas immigrated to the US in 1869 and married Elizabeth in 1875. Before his death they had nine children the youngest being around 13 years of age. They farmed in Dry Cedar precinct near Burwell, Garfield county, Nebraska.
