Bio

"Mrs. D. D. Hunt of O'Neill, mother of Dr. M. W. Hunt, died at the Hunt home in Battle Creek Wednesday morning of a fractured skull sustained when she missed her footing and fell down the porch steps of the residence early Tuesday evening. She never regained consciousness after the fall. The body was taken to O'Neill, where funeral services will be held Saturday. Born at Burwell, Garfield County [sic], Mrs. Hunt had been a resident of O'Neill over twenty years. She was about 60 years old. Recently terminating a visit, in Omaha, she had stopped in Battle Creek while en route home for a short stay with Dr. and Mrs. Hunt. Surviving are the husband, seven sons and five daughters.
