Bio

Oakdale (Nov 2, 1959) - Mrs. Mahaley Johnson, 82, died at 3:45 am Sunday at the Hargrove clinic here following a long illness. Funeral services were to be held at 2 PM today at the Ardoin funeral home with Rev. H.T. Sullivan and Rev. R.L. LaFleur officiating. Burial was to be in the Oakdale Cemetery. Surviving are three sons; Frank and Edgar Johnson, both of Oakdale, Ivy Johnson of New Roads; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Welke of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Isabelle Holman of Kermitt, Texas; four brothers, Jim, Will, Tom and Ike Bailey, all of Pitkin; a sister, Mrs. Zadie Arnold of Merryville; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren
