From the Greeley Tribune, Jan. 16, 2010 Deborah Hauer July 26, 1950-Jan. 13, 2010 Deborah Kay Hauer, 59, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Herford, Colo., died Jan. 13, 2010, at Mesa Vista Health Care in Boulder, Colo. She was born July 26, 1950, in Grover, Colo., to James and Barbara (Zink) Hauer. She grew up in Grover and graduated from Grover High School in 1968. Deborah was a legal secretary and enjoyed music, piano playing, the Denver Broncos, rodeos and poetry. Survivors are her daughter, Shannon (Chris) Catalano of Aurora, Colo.; son, William (Penny) Gallagher of Grand Junction, Colo.; five grandchildren; brothers, Steven (Jan) Hauer of Grover and Kevin (Cheryl) Hauer of Carpenter, Wyo.; and sisters, Vonnie (Bill) Wignall of Bend, Ore., Vickie Hindman and Dawn Hauer, both of Greeley, Colo. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Herford Community Church, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Grover Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Deborah Hauer Memorial Fund" in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
