Henry Emil Albright - b. 24 Dec 1907 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Obituary provided by Frankie Randall . ====================================== The following obituary was published in the Rosenberg Herald on February 8, 1929: Mrs. Caroline Albright was born in Austin County, September 14, 1866. She was united in marriage to H. Albright in 1889. She was converted in girlhood and joined the Lutheran Church, of which her husband was a member. As wife and mother, she met her responsibilities bravely. No sacrifice was too great for her, no duty too difficult, no path too rough. Home-building in those pioneer days was not an easy task. Sharing with her husband the burdens and privations that came to them she literally obeyed the Apostle's injunction, "Bear ye one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Part of obituary missing).....the transition was easy. Rev. H. H. Schowe, of Beasley conducted the funeral services. Her tired body rests in the W.O.W. Cemetery at Rosenberg. Surviving her are her husband, H. Albright; seven daughters, Mrs. Emma Grof, Kenney; Mrs. Herman Grof, Sealy; Mrs. Minnie Falk, Needville; Mrs. Louis Rose, Beasley; Mrs. Ida Schroeder, Brenham; Mrs. Lillie Ganska, Beasley; Mrs. Annie Ganska, Needville; four sons, Emil Albright, Beasley, Louis Albright, Edna; Gilbert and Henry Albright of Needville. Two sons died in infancy. * * * ------------------------- Suggested edit: Please note on this memorial that the German spelling of Albright is 'Albrecht' All the Albrechts that lived in Washington County and then relocated to Ft. Bend county for some reason changed their name to Albright. Albrecht is the name used in the family tree. Contributor: Miles to Go (50338167)
