Bio

Herman was born in Germany, the son of William and Louise Voelkel Hees. William was born in Eichen Westfalia, Germany in 1865 and died in Travis County, Texas in 1937. Louise was born in Erndtebruck Westfalia, Germany in 1866 and died in Travis County in 1942. Herman was the brother to Willie, Ernest, Henry, Charlie, Ida Vorwerk, Emma Felder and Louise Kerlin. Herman married Julia Lena Kerlin Hees and their children were Doris Mills, Alfred and stillborn twins.
