Doris Irene Hees Mills, 85, of Austin passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006. She was born December 15, 1920 in Travis County, Texas. Doris Hees and Conway R. Mills were married on October 29, 1949. He preceded her in death. There she raised her family and they were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. In 1973 she returned to living in Austin and remained there until 1999. Doris was a resident of Deer Creek Nursing Center in Wimberley at the time of her death. Survivors include her son, Daniel H. Mills and his wife Judy of Johnson City: her daughter, Christine Davis and her husband George of Pflugerville; and grandchildren, Seleste Mills, Bailey Mills, Brian Davis, Brett Davis, and Kate Sawyer. Our mother and grandmother was loving, giving, sharing, and caring of all the people she came in contact with. Her love and generosity will be remembered and missed by all of her family and friends. We know that she will be in heaven watching over us. Funeral services were Sunday, September, 10, 2006 at Faith Lutheran Church. Interment followed at Memorial Hill Park in Pflugerville.
