Helen Oma Muenzler Young - information by Don Haynes IOWA PARK - Helen Oma Young, 88, of Iowa Park passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Pellikan officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Spring Creek Cemetery in Avoca, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home. Mrs. Young was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Fort Worth to the late Will and Eula (Searcy) Muenzler. She married Benny Young on Sept. 15, 1934, in Avoca, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1962. Mrs. Young lived in Iowa Park for 58 years. She was a Methodist, and was active in the United Methodist Women's organization. She worked at Kadane Grocery for 20 years. Mrs. Young was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Young on July 2, 2003, and a grandson, Kenneth Young. She is survived by her son, Wayne Young of Iowa Park; one sister, Hallie Moore of Haltom City, Texas; a sister-in-law, Leo Young of Abilene, Texas; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park. information provided by Don Haynes
