Bio

Hallie Fay Moore, 88 years, four months and 17 days, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, crossed from this life to eternity Saturday, March 15, 2008. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Hallie Fay Moore was born Oct. 27, 1919, to Will and Eula Muenzler in Avoca in Jones County. She married Neal Moore in 1934. They had two daughters and three sons. They were members of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Neal, her husband of 61 years, in 1995; sisters, Hazel and Helen; sons, David and Jackie Moore; daughter, Sharon Fulfer; and great-grandson, Sean Moore. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. "Those who bloom in the hearts of others never fade away." "God saw she was getting tired, a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered 'Come with me.' With tearful eyes you saw her go, and softly fade away... and though you loved her dearly, you could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." --Author unknown Survivors: Daughter, Wanda Leuty and husband, Jim; son, Gene Moore and wife, Verna; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Published in the Star-Telegram on 3/17/2008.
