Bio

Former West Resident Buried Here Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Johana Macek, age 74, who died at Wichita Falls on April 25, were held here last Friday at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the National Cemetery. Mrs. Macek formerly lived in West, moving to Ft. Worth in 1919. She was born in Czechoslovakia and came to America as a young girl. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Aug. Marek of Abbott and Mrs. Olga Chapman of Ft. Worth; two sons, Henry Macek of Ft. Worth and John Macek of Chicago.
