Moulton - Mrs. Ludwik Lidiak, died at the age of 76 years at the Smithville Towers Nursing Home Monday, January 22, 1968. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 24, at 9:30 a.m. from the Marrs Memorial Chapel at Smithville and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Barton's Creed (Kovar community). Requiem Mass was offered by Rev. Clyde Holtman and Rev. Adolph Janda. Interment was in Barton's Creek Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. Lidiak, nee Hermina Kremel, was born at Cistern and was married to Ludwik Lidiak in the Cistern Catholic Church 57 years ago. They lived all their life at Ford's Prairie, Fayette Co., near Kovar, until Mrs. Lidiak became an invalid, they moved to Smithville. She was in the Towers Nursing Home for the past 3 years and 3 months. Survivors are her husband, Ludwik; a son, Laddie Lidiak of Austin; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Adamcik of Austin and Mrs. William (Henrietta) Stryk of Moulton; one brother, Richard Kremel of Edinburg; 3 sisters, Mrs. Emilie Spicak of Corpus Christi; Mrs. Anton (Victoria) Psencik of San Antonio and Mrs. John (Anastasia) Vinklarek of Cistern; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers were: Robert Adamick, Alfred Stryk, Adolph Kremel, Leroy Lidiak, Victor Psencik and Jerry Prochaska.
