Bio

Son of Albin A. and Dorothy (Nozicka) Janky. He grew up in the Bellwood area. He attended St. Anthony in Columbus and graduated from Scotus Central Catholic High School in 1967. He then attended and graduated from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1971 with a degree in mechanized agriculture. He went to work for Fleischer Manufacturing and later worked for Beverly Health Care, both in Columbus. On September 10, 1983 he was married to Debra Zavodsky at St. Joseph Catholic Church in rural Bellwood. He had been active in Junior Achievement, Optimist Club, and St. Bonaventure Church where he served as an usher. He enjoyed sports.
