Surviving by his wife and 10 children. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, with Rev. R.A. Stewart officiating, and interment was made at Spring Creek cemetery near Avoca. Sons and daughters of the deceased who were at the funeral: Mrs. Cliff Allison of Dallas; Mrs. Ellen Irby of San Angelo; Mrs. H.B. Painter of De Leon; Mrs. Silas Cransville of Colorado City; Andrew White of Snyder; W.D. White of Avoca; Rufus White of Big Lake; Jesse A. White of Stamford. Two other sons - Marvin White of Snyder; John White of Fort Worth were unable to attend the funeral. Out-of-town relatives Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith of Hereford; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Culwell of Slaton; Ernest and Bud Painter of DeLeon; W.N. Kinney of Stamford and Mr. Petty of Haskell handled the arrangements.
