Wife of George G. Muenzler nickname was Louise - born Decatur, IL - died Abilene, TX - Mrs. G.G. Muenzler, 74 years, resident of Avoca for 34 years, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. A.P. Waltrie. Funeral services held in Avoca Methodist church with Rev. Joel V. Grimes, pastor of Avoca Baptist church officiating. Assisted by: Rev. R. O. Browder, Methodist pastor. Burial in Springcreek cemetery beside the grave of her husband, who died in 1938. Mrs. Muenzler was born in Decatur, Illinois, September 15, 1865. She had been a member of the Methodist church since she was a child. The famly moved to Avoca about 1905. Mrs. Muenzler remained on the "home place" after her husband's death until about nine months ago when she went to Abilene. Survivors: son - Fred A. Muenzler of Fort Worth; 4 daughters - Mrs. Ella McClain of Fort Worth, Mrs. Nettie McClellan of Avoca, Mrs. A.P. Waltrip and Mrs. J.M. Waltrip, both of Abilene; 14 grand; 7 great; 5 sisters, 1 brother.
