Chester Herald (Chester, NE), Thursday, March 31, 1949; pg. 5 BYRON NEWS Michael Ray Kroeger, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kroeger was born Feb. 9th at the Reed Hospital in Deshler. He was in poor health from time of birth and passed away in the hospital Wednesday, March 23. He was laid to rest in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetary (sic). Rev. Weltner officiated at the funeral services in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church
