Lusk - Mattie Grimes Services for Mildred Estelle Franks, 33, were held at Avcoa Methodist officiated by Rev. R.O. Browder, pastor. Mrs. Franks was a Methodist. Mildred Franks was found dead in an automobile on a country lane three miles northeast of Plainview, Mrs. Frank was found under the steering wheel of the coupe. Hawley Garner, 40, was also found in the car. Mrs. Franks was employed by Hawley Garner's father. She moved to Plainview eight months from Silverton. Survived by two sons - Edwin and James Harold Franks; her parents; two sisters - Mrs. J.R. Miller and Mrs. W.G. Ludecke; four brothers - Otho E., J. Olen, Harlan and Royce Lusk.
