Mrs. Charlotte Hahmann, 65, died at her home, 611 Ashburn Street, at 3:15 a.m., Friday, October 6, 1944. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 2 p.m., at Compton's Chapel, Rev. C. Wolff and Rev. John Strauss officiating, burial in Cottonwood Cemetery. Survivors: Four daughters, Mrs. Otto Leuschner, Mrs. Hubert Gaylor, Mrs. Earnest Snyder, all of Waco, and Mrs. Leo Girard Jr., of West; a son, George Hahmann, of Mooreville; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Nawara, of Waco, and Mrs. Lizzie Ling, of Waco; two brothers, Andrew Habel of Gayhill, Washington County, and Charlie Habel, of Mooreville; 12 grandchildren. Active pallbearers: Joe Nawara, Charlie Ling, Charlie Habel, Albert Habel, Charlie Nawara, Melvin Krause. Compton's Funeral Home, 1024 Austin.
