LaVele Katheryn Schmidt-Edwards, 88, of Conway formerly of Danville, passed away on March 10, 2008 at Conway Regional Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1920 in Merna, NE. LaVele was preceded in death by her husband, Dan G. Edwards; her parents, Ernest Schmidt and Emma Norbeck-Schmidt; and her sister, Donna Schmidt-Crawford. She is survived by her sons: Dan Edwards, Jr. (Barbara) of Coleyville, TX, Tom Edwards (Sandy) of Danville, Bill Edwards (Sherry) of Praire Grove; her daughter, Kathy Young of Conway; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral services will be held in Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Sullinger officiating. The burial services will be held at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons Chris Edwards, Russell Edwards, Chad Hipps, Danny Hipps, Dustin Edwards, Matthew Young and Marcus Young. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
