Bio

Margie Kocurek, age 74, a resident of Emhouse and a former longtime resident of Ennis passed away on Friday, January 6, 2006. Margie was born on April 9, 1931 in Ennis, Texas, to John and Mary (Slovak) Kriska. She was a faithful member of the St. John Catholic Church where she belonged to the K.J.Z.T. She is survived by three daughters; Rita Beran, of Mesquite, Texas, Sharon Barkley and her husband Jimmy of Emhouse, and Anna Short and her husband Ron of Waco, Texas; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother Willie Kriska of Ennis, Texas. Margie was preceded in death by her son, Timothy in 1981 and her husband Bernard in 1993. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. in St. John Catholic Church with Fr. John Haugh officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
