Daro Steverson 1927 - 2009 Daro Steverson, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, in the Palestine Regional Hospital, Palestine, TX. He was born on May 5, 1927, in Laurel, Mississippi and resided in Frankston, TX for the last 12 years. Mr. Steverson worked as a truck driver and was an U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by: two sons, Howard Steverson of Houston and Steve "Huck" Steverson of Tomball, TX, two daughters, Edith Johns and Brenda Culp both of Houston, his brother, Hosey Steverson of Winsborough, LA, two sisters, Lena Thomas and Charlcie Steverson both of Kountze, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in the Hemphill Cemetery, Hemphill, TX.
