Bio
Mary was the daughter of George Edward & Nancy "Nannie" Jane (Maxwell) Medcalf. She married William Trig Fortner in McKinney, TX, on February 28, 1906. Their children were: Annie Lucille, Alva Beatrice, Lena May, Jennie, Pearl, James Emmitt, Edith Maurine, Frances Lee, Austin, Mildred, & G W. William died from "Double Pneumonia" on Feb. 10, 1935. Annie lived in Melissa & had been in The Wilson N. Jones Hospital one day when she died at 3:30 a.m. from an "Acute Mycordial Infarction." She had lived 73 years. The informant on her death certificate was Mrs. Mildred Gaither. She was buried June 1.
