Bio

John Homer was the son of George Edward & Nancy "Nannie" Jane (Maxwell) Medcalf. John & his wife, Cora, lived at 1509 N. Broughton St. in Sherman. He had a job as a "Road Builder" for the State Highway Department. John was in the Sherman Community Hospital when he died from cancer of the right lung at 7:10 p.m. on March 4, 1968. He had lived 75 years. His wife, Cora, was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried on March 6.
