ROSSER Maurine Ruth Rosser, 64, died March 14, 1995 at her winter home in Mazatlan, Mexico. She was born on November 20, 1930 in Ord, Nebraska. Maurine was the oldest of 2 children [sic]. Her brother, Don Urban, lives in Piedmont, Oklahoma. She graduated high school from Old Central in 1948. She married her husband of 44 years, Weldon "Ross" Rosser in 1950. They lived in and raised their 3 sons in OKC. She was an active member of the Lions Club Women's Auxiliary and Miss Oklahoma Beauty Pageant. They moved to Tulsa in 1974 to an acreage on Keystone Lake. It was there she developed her love for gardening. With her "green thumb", she could grow even the most exotic flowers and plants. In 1991, they retired to a resort community on the beach in Mazatlan, Mexico. She absolutely loved the beach and the many new friendships she made there. Maurine is survived by her husband, Weldon "Ross" Rosser; brother, Don Urban; three sons, Mike, Rick and Gary Rosser; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all of her family, and friends. Services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. at Guardian North Funeral Chapel.
