Mada Vivian Starnes, age 84, of Waxahachie, passed away at her home August 22, 2008. She was born February 6, 1924 in Ellis County to Albert Bishop and Lillie Mae (Bearden) Bishop. Vivian is survived by her husband Henry Rodriguez; two brothers, Edwin Bishop and his wife Mary of Ennis and Bobby Bishop and his wife Kathryn of Henrietta; one nephew, Mark and his wife Sherri of Conroe; two nieces, Paula Summers and her husband Jim of Flowermound and Carla Bishop of Henrietta; three great nieces, Meredith and Stephanie Clark, Sierra Bishop and one great nephew Logan Clark. Interment will follow at the Sardis Cemetery. To clarify: Mada Vivian Bishop married James E. Wood (#8293048) in 1946. Mr. Wood died in 1972. Then in 1977, she married William Grattan Starnes (#29559205). Mr, Starnes died in 1979. Henry Rodriguez was her husband at her time of death. She was buried beside her first husband, James E Wood, in Sardis Cemetery. Her 2nd husband, William Grattan Starnes is buried with his first wife at Restland in Dallas.
