Betty Faye Conner, 72, of Gulf Shores, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Lee Mathews. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Mathews Lightfoot of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Lola Mae Welch and Clara Stokes, both of Foley; and two brothers, Sammy (Linda) Campbell of Foley and Ronnie Campbell of Elberta. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3 at Morgan Chapel United Methodist Church, Bon Secour. Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
