MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENT Publication: Charleston Daily Mail Friday, March 21, 1947 Charleston, West Virginia Mrs. Edward Everett Miller Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock at Central Methodist Church Miss Nella Kathleen Veith of this city, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Veith of Sutton, was married to Mr. Edward Everett Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Miller of 1211 Baines Street. Wears Street-Length Frock The candlelight service was performed by Rev. Wayne F. Ransom before an Alter decorated with standing vases of white gladioli and palms. Miss Blanche Howell, organist, played nuptial music. Young Miss Miller chose for her wedding an ivory sheer wool street-length frock with gold embroidery trim. She wore a half hat of gold and brown feathers with ivory veiling and brown accessories. The bride carried a white Bible adorned with brown orchids and stephanotis Miss Vena Ellen Neeley, maid of honor , was attired In a wild rose pink sheer wool dress, matching hat and black accessories and carried a colonial bouquet of spring flowers. Mr. John Holswade served as best man for the bridegroom and Messrs. George and Alden Miller brothers of the Bridegroom were ushers. When Mr. Miller and his bride left for a wedding trip to Pittsburgh she was wearing a brown pin-check dressmakers suit with brown accessories and an orchid corsage. They will reside at 1573 Washington St,. East, upon their return. The former Miss Veith attended Braxton County schools and was graduated from Charleston School of Commerce. She holds a secretarial position with Linde Air Products Co. Mr. Miller attended Schools in Nebraska and is employed by E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Co. at Belle. He served 44 months with the Marine Corps, having spent 30 months in the Southwest Pacific with the first marine division. ∼ Married 1947 in Kanawha Co. to Nella Veith.
