Mother: Lucy Tappan Father: George Miller Occupation Retired Farmer Parents names, place of birth, occupation and cause of death found on WV Death Certificate. Informant was his son Edward Miller. Cause of death drowning Charleston Gazette Thursday, December 6, 1956 Charleston, West Virginia MILLER, Louis J.- 77 of Washington Manor was found dead yesterday in the Elk River at Charleston. Surviving are his wife, Mae; four sons , Edward of South Charleston, Alden of Charleston, Willis of Sandston, Va. and George of Canon City, Colorado; two sisters, Roxana Jeffries of North Loop, Nebraska and Mrs. Edward Milligan of Dix., Nebraska; and two brothers, Edwin of Anderson, Ind. and John of Escondido, Calif. Service will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow in Bartlett mortuary with Dr. W. W. White officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
