Samuel Huff and his wife Elizabeth "Bettie" Jane Trammell Huff were the parents of Rachel Huff who married John Laurence Nicholas White. The Find A Grave memorial # 66676749 for Rachel E. Steadman is tentatively identified as that of Rachel Huff White. Samuel Huff was originally buried in Coryell County's Brown's Creek Cemetery. He was reinterred in Restland Cemetery during the development of Fort Hood.
