Bio

Vera May Sisson, 92, of Greenfield died Aug. 10, 2006, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Vera Sisson, daughter of Eva (Houdley) and William Stickney, was born June 30, 1914, in Loup City, Neb. She married Ramun Roberts. In 1964, Vera married William Buck Sisson. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, William (wife Mary) Roberts of Fountain Valley, Calif., Donald Vern (wife Beverly) Roberts of Des Moines and Marion Roberts of Greenfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vera was preceded in death by her parents, son Jimmy Roberts and second husband.
