Julie Karen Horak Moore passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, surrounded by her friends and family. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Compass Christian Church in Colleyville, officiated by Jay Franks. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Members of the Prosper Fire Department. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Julie was born in Dallas on April 5, 1969. She graduated from Grapevine High School and the University of North Texas. Julie was an avid hockey fan and "Aunt JuJu" to numerous kids whom she showered with affection and love. Julie was an amazing woman who left an impression on everyone with whom she came in contact. Her generosity and continual love and concern for everyone was a testament to her faith and trust in the plans God had for her. Her smile was an overflow of the love and joy in her heart and she will be greatly missed. Survivors: Her husband of 11 years, Christopher T. Moore; parents, Milton and Jo Horak; brothers, Brent Horak and wife, Michelle, Brad Horak and wife, Erin; nephews, Carson and Austin Horak, Jake Horak; niece, Samantha Horak; aunt, Margaret Weddel; and numerous cousins and friends.
